Changelog14 changes
Each feature now has its own settings
Added
- Each feature now has its own settings. You can set how many days without events make that one feature count as dead (handy for seasonal or rarely used features), mark a feature as never dead, and add a description. Owners and admins edit them on the feature page; everyone else sees them read-only. Features without settings keep following the project default.
- An account page, open from the account menu on any screen: your name and a short description, your role in each workspace, and how you sign in. You can set a password, and disconnect Google or GitHub as long as another way to sign in is left.
- Team members are now shown with their names next to their emails.
- Sign in or register with Google or GitHub, next to the email and password form. Your existing account is recognised by its verified email, so there is nothing to migrate.
- A guided first-run setup for new accounts: name your workspace, create your first project and send your first event, with a progress bar and the same look as the sign-in pages. There is also a way to sign out from it.
- Features that follow their own rule (their own dead threshold, or never dead) are marked in the Features and Dead features lists, with a short note above the list that names them.
Changed
- On the sign-in page the live demo is now a quiet link below the sign-in options instead of a third button.
- The create-project page was redesigned and is part of the first-run setup for your first project.
- Moving through the first-run setup is now smooth: no blank screen between the steps and no repeated fade-in, and the buttons keep showing progress until the next step is ready.
- Updated the wording on the security page.
- On a feature's page, the totals are now labelled as covering the whole history, and the trend next to the name shows the event counts it compares. When the earlier period had too few events for a percentage to mean anything, it shows the counts instead of a large percentage.
- A link to a section of the docs, for example `/docs#cli-sinks`, now opens the right tab and scrolls to that section instead of landing on top of the SDK tab.
Fixed
- The first setup step no longer sends accounts without a workspace back to itself, so a new account can finish setting up.
- The usage chart on a feature's page keeps the same size as on the Overview when the feature has no events in the picked period, instead of shrinking to a small box, so the page no longer jumps when you switch between 30 days, 12 weeks and 12 months.
