Changelog10 changes

Privacy Policy and Security pages are clearer about your data and your rights

Releases: CLI 2.5.1, SDK 2.0.7, Angular, Astro, Svelte and Vue plugins 1.2.3

Added

  • You can now delete your account yourself from the Account page. You are signed out right away and your data is kept for 30 days: sign in again in that time and everything comes back. After that it is deleted for good. If you are the only owner of a workspace, it is deleted with your account and its members lose access, and you are shown exactly what will go before you confirm.
  • If you sign in again within those 30 days, you are told your account was restored.
  • Accounts that sign in with Google or GitHub, and so have no password, confirm the deletion with a code sent by email. The code is valid for 10 minutes.

Changed

  • The CLI now warns when an API key is written into `eventra.json`, the file you commit, and explains how to keep it out. Create a new key if the file was ever shared.
  • Deleting a workspace now removes its projects, events and members for good after 30 days. Before, the data stayed until the normal 12-month cleanup.
  • The Privacy Policy now says who is responsible for what: Eventra is the controller of your account data and a processor of the events your app sends, and a Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
  • It also explains your rights and how to delete your account, how international transfers work, which cookie we use, and exactly what is kept after 12 months (numbers only, no user IDs).
  • The Privacy Policy and Security pages now list the same service providers.
  • The Security page is plain about API key domain limits: they stop other websites from reusing a key in a browser, but a key shipped to browsers should still be treated as public.
  • Entries can now list the CLI, SDK and plugin versions published that day, so you can tell which version contains a change. Existing entries were filled in from the release history.
